Introduction to Tarot: Connecting with Your Intuition

Curious about tarot and where to begin? Join Danushka for a welcoming beginner workshop where you can explore the cards and practise listening to your intuition.

We’ll begin with a brief overview of the tarot deck, including the Major and Minor Arcana and the four suits, before moving into hands-on exploration. Through grounding meditation, journaling, and guided card exercises, you’ll learn to notice the images, feelings, and impressions that come up for you—and explore how cards can connect to tell a story.

We’ll also practise asking thoughtful questions for self-reflection, with time to read for yourself or with a partner in a supportive, encouraging space.

No previous experience or knowledge of card meanings is needed. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.

What to Bring: Unlike our craft workshops, this evening is all about working with your own personal tools! Please bring:

  • Your Cards: Bring your favorite Tarot or Oracle deck (whichever you feel most connected to right now). Don’t have one yet? Don’t worry! We will have a beautiful selection of decks available for purchase.
  • A Journal & Pen: To record your spreads, track your symbols, and write down your “aha!” moments.

Come As You Are You do not need to be a psychic or a seasoned reader to join us.

  • Total Beginners: You are our favorite guests. Danushka will guide you through the absolute basics of pulling a card and trusting your gut, so you never feel lost.
  • Seasoned Practitioners: You will find a community to deepen your practice, learn a new spread, and enjoy a dedicated evening of reading alongside like-minded people.

The circle is open. Bring your deck, your questions, and an open mind.

Note: Tea is provided; please feel free to bring a water bottle or your favorite mug if you prefer.
